funbelievable in lakeside

what a treat - we spent this rainy morning at funbelievable - an awesome place for climbing/jumping/sliding/running and playing hard just 25 minutes from our house.  what a perfect place to set loose pete and his best buddy ryan!  betsy was in heaven too, although i stayed pretty close to her to keep her from being run over by the faster paced big kids.  even baby claire (she is SO not a baby anymore) had some fun in the baby play area.  it was a joy to see pete and ryan finally playing TOGETHER, chasing each other around and saying "come on, ryan!" and "let's go, petey!" and holding hands while they jumped into the ball pit and squealing with delight all the while.  it was a very fast paced environment so my pictures were few and far between - and lots of blurry action shots. phew, those kids move fast!

ignore the lady center-screen....she will probably kill me for posting this and i assure you she is NOT picking her nose....she is more likely plugging her nose as she is standing next to betsy who is teething and thus creating some super serious smelly teething-diapers. phew.  i had to include this pic so you could get an idea of the magnitude of awesome little-kid-heaven this place is!  bonus that everything is parent accessible. and generally left me with the impression that it was clean and well kept.

the only moment of the entire morning he was standing still....which was actually just waiting his turn to launch his body halfway across the pit of balls.

yep....launch.  have to work on my action shooting skills with the new (awesome) camera.

she loved letting herself sink under the balls. i kept her tucked in the corner, away from the launch path. :)  although eventually even SHE was launching herself from the top step.
